Distance teaching is a necessity, it’s not a choice. But we have to ask ourselves a question: which distance teaching are we doing? Whether it comes to video lessons or pressing pupils with grades…. Doing something traditional in an innovative school is impossible. At this stage we need to give stimuli to pupils, not let them listen in front of a screen. You can’t expect a child to be careful in front of the screen like in a classroom. Going from front classes to online video lessons is torture. The problem is not technology but how you use it. What matters is the method: the teacher must have that.
